Books

In the second book of the trilogy, A.J. returns to Denver to help a Mexican immigrant worker claim the body of his uncle, who was killed during a police raid of a suspected drug house.

When it is revealed that the wrong house was raided, the case turns complicated as city and federal agencies scramble to protect themselves. A.J. must unravel the web of lies and deceit to get to the truth, while seeking the identity of a murderer who has killed one potential witness to the tragedy and is after another.

With the authorities stonewalling investigations, A.J. turns to the mysterious organization that contracts his investigative services to uncover evidence and information. Once again, Dom, Manolo, and Connie join in the attempt to solve the case and bring a murderer to justice.
